Ethics, Inclusion, and How I Use AI
Edited: 10 Dec 2025
I care deeply about the people and businesses I work with. My approach is simple. Treat people fairly, be transparent, and build relationships grounded in trust. My work is built on real experience and a genuine belief that small, creative businesses deserve support, visibility, and opportunities to grow.
My Approach to Ethics
I want my clients and students to feel safe, respected, and confident in the support they’re getting from me. To me, ethics means:
-
Being honest and transparent in how I work.
-
Giving advice that serves your business, not quick wins or shortcuts that won’t last.
-
Protecting your privacy and handling anything you share with care.
-
Creating learning spaces where questions are welcomed and nobody is judged for what they don’t know.
-
Staying curious and open to improving how I teach and support you.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
I work with business owners from many backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. Every person deserves to feel respected, included, and able to show up as themselves.
In practice, this means:
-
I challenge assumptions and biases in myself and the wider industry.
-
I aim to make my teaching and communities accessible, welcoming, and inclusive.
-
If something I say or do can be improved, I take that seriously and I listen.
-
I value diverse perspectives because they make the work stronger and more representative of the real world.
A Note on How I Use AI
As someone who is dyslexic and whose first language isn’t English, AI has genuinely transformed how I work. It has made writing feel less stressful and more enjoyable, and it allows me to share far more of my knowledge and experience with you.
Here’s how I use it:
-
To spell check and grammar check my writing so I can focus on the ideas instead of worrying about mistakes.
-
To transcribe my spoken ideas. Talking helps me think, and having those words typed out clearly has been game changing.
-
To edit blog posts, emails, and newsletters based on handwritten notes or voice recordings. This frees me up to focus on strategy and content instead of endlessly rereading drafts.
-
To support practical parts of my workflow like editing videos, editing my podcast, and adding subtitles.
-
To help me manage my inbox and calendar more effectively.
-
To schedule social media and post across multiple platforms in a way that saves time and keeps my content consistent.
And because AI is evolving quickly, I expect how I use it to shift over time. I’ll keep this page updated as new tools develop and as my workflow grows.
Here’s what I do not use AI for:
-
I do not use AI to create art or anything that replaces the work of independent creatives. My clients are illustrators, makers, designers, and product-based business owners. Their creativity is at the centre of everything I do, and I’m committed to protecting that.
AI supports my process, but everything I produce is shaped, reviewed, and decided by me. The ideas, the teaching, the guidance, and the strategy all come from my experience in the industry and my values.
The Bottom Line
I’m here to help you grow your wholesale in a way that feels fair, human, and sustainable. Ethics, inclusion, and thoughtful use of technology are part of that commitment.
If you ever have feedback or questions about anything I share or how I operate, my door is always open.
