If your wholesale sales aren’t quite where you’d hoped, or you’re feeling like you’re constantly working but not really seeing results, first - take a deep breath. This is so common, and it doesn’t mean you’ve failed or that your products aren’t good enough.

It just might mean it’s time to try something different.

It sounds simple, but it’s something many of us forget: doing the same thing again and again while hoping for a better result can leave you feeling stuck and deflated. The good news? There’s always room to reassess, make small changes, and get things moving again.

Check In On Your Wholesale Approach

When was the last time you properly reviewed your wholesale outreach? Not just sending a few emails and crossing your fingers - but really thinking about what’s working and what’s not.

Sometimes the smallest shifts can make the biggest difference. Try walking through these prompts to see where you might make a few adjustments:

  • Are you reaching out to stockists who are the right fit for your brand and products?

  • Does your pitch email include everything a buyer needs to say yes—like pricing, order minimums, lead times and how to place an order?

  • Are your emails being delivered and read? A quick email tracker or a gentle follow-up call can help you get some clarity here.


  • How often are you following up? And are your follow-ups helpful and relevant?

  • Do you have enough leads on your list, or are you putting all your energy into just a few?

  • Are you supporting your current stockists so they keep ordering and feel excited about your products?

Start with One Small Tweak


Once you’ve looked through those questions, the next step is to keep it simple. What’s one small thing you can tweak this week? It might be rewriting your email intro, or blocking out a weekly time slot to research new leads.

There’s no need to overhaul everything overnight. Progress happens one step at a time, and taking action (even something small) builds momentum.
